– 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts – 1/4 cup soy sauce – 2 tablespoons brown sugar – 2 tablespoons sesame oil – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 teaspoon ginger, minced – 1/4 teaspoon black pepper – 2 cups cooked white or brown rice – 1 cup steamed broccoli florets – 1 cup shredded carrots – 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, for garnish – Sliced green onions, for garnish

Ingredients

1. – In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.

Directions

2 – Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure it's evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours) to marinate.

3 – Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

4 – Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is cooked through.

5 – While the chicken is cooking, steam the broccoli florets until they are tender-crisp, and prepare the rice and shredded carrots.

6 – Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.

7 – To assemble the bowls, divide the cooked rice among serving bowls. Top with sliced grilled chicken, steamed broccoli, and shredded carrots.

8 – Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions & Serve the Flame Broiler-style grilled chicken bowls and enjoy!
